With Pre E do your feet hands and face all swell or could it just be the feet?? I swear I used to have ankles but they are now non existent. My hands and face are find though.

I've always had blood pressure of 90/60 until last weeks appointment which was 119/70 so jumped up a bit. I've probably just got fat feet, I've noticed a big weight increase this week but not eaten more! Maybe it's water retention. Is it May yet??

@mich77, I've been suffering from flashing lights/loss of vision for weeks but no headaches. I had an MRI scan on Weds after seeing a neurologist, just waiting for results. I'm visiting the in laws tonight who have a blood pressure machine so going to check it's not high.
Swelling is common in late pregnancy...It happens...it doesn't have to be preeclampsia related either...Mine swelled up a bit a day or 2 before I went into labour. My blood pressure and everything was fine during labour :) Swelling can be due to the weight you are carrying and water retention :) x
I think you mainly have to worry if its hands and feet. I had some swelling down by my ankles and showed my midwife and she didn't seem worried at all :)
not entirely sure but my midwife told me to look out for flashing lights and headaches. I no longer have ankles either....
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
I reckon you should always ring the dau with any symptoms pre eclampsia related because there are several examples and the hospital will usually look for 2 ...... eyesight is one of them and so is swelling! always worth ringing them hum @sharonc xxx
