yea puerto ricans from the island and dominicans from the island are very similar. i lived there for a short while and i can tell u at first i was culture shocked being im pr but from the states lol. but its beautiful the history the people the food and music. @amaperalta03
My son refuses to speak Spanish it breaks my heart. My husband doesn't speak it and it makes it hard when we speak English at home@mamix3_
Yea to me Dominican and Puerto Ricans are very similar cause I grew up both. But my daughter really gets to experience 2 different cultures the Spanish side and Jamaican side. She loves Jamaican food and music and she loves Spanish food too. We are taking her to Jamaica this summer so she can meet some family

girl my son speaks both. we lived in DR for 6 months came back talking no hablo ingles hablo dominicano and now he masters both languages and in prek is the teachers translator jajajhaja @proudmommyy1123
