I know two people this has happened to. This is why i didn't find out. One of these found it really hard to bond as she couldn't understand why it was not a boy x

Oh no @fozzywoz that's terrible. OH and I would like to find out but this has scared me. She already has two boys and they were both really excited that they'd have a little sister, all the clothes as well from her baby shower... I don't know if she can take them back??? Knowing her, tags are in the bin & already have been washed & ironed 🙈

Some hospitals don't tell you for thus reason. I think it is rare that they get it wrong, but I'll stick to finding out on the day. They say labour is quicker, as you push harder to find out. Lol

@fozzywoz, I already have an 8 year old girl so this time I was actually ok with not finding out the sex but this is OH's 1st and is really excited, so I caved and said he could find out. I know they can make mistakes when telling the sex, my sonographer told me to keep any receipts for girly items

They are likely to look different tbh, I didn't want to scare anyone but just a reminder that gender predictions aren't 100% maybe get them to double check if you have another scan? @lauren16

I had a 4D scan and was told a boy lol. But I was convinced a girl lol 😂 I won't have any more scans now.. Got midwife next Thursday.. I'll just have to wait till he's here at 39 weeks lol @sweetsesame

Oh dear.i can relate to this.my friend was told she is having a boy and she gave birth to a girl.so her first clothes were blue.so weird kind off.

I always ask very well to see their private part🙈. so this time she showed me if it's a boy their .....will be sticking out by now.but u can see it's a girl cos it's flat.my girl actually opened her legs wide 😂😂😂😂.but with that she said 99% so that means there is 1% chance of error.

@fabulousnikky, that's very true. Nothing will change how I feel and I'm hoping it will be the same with my friend but at the moment she says she feels weird and is struggling with name options. I'm hoping there will still be a bond and he'll end up with a great name x
