Are you not supposed to sleep on your back in the 2nd and 3rd trimester?
My doctor when I was getting a ultrasound done she told me to let her know if I started to feel sick or dizzy from laying on my back while she was doing my ultrasound. She told me to not sleep on my back at all after like 25 weeks to try my best to sleep on my left side because the blood flows the most on that side.
I sleep on my stomach and back, just make sure you have a pillow under one side as my ob told me it can cause low bp and cut off blood flow to the baby
Thanks guys. I read it can cut off some of the blood supply to the baby.
I heard you can sleep however you want (just not your stomach) as long as it's comfortable. if it hurts then you obviously shouldn't be
you shouldn't sleep on your back, it could effect the flow of things to the baby.
