@jennaboo, I had one with my son 10 months ago I'm now pregnant again. It went easy the only thing was the recovery was a little painful but wearing a postpartum support belt helped me. I have to do it all over agin in November 😳 but at least I know what to expect.

I just had a c-section 5 days ago and honestly the worst part has been the healing. I couldn't feel anything from my chest down. I could feel the pressure but that was it.

Yeah I had an emerancy c section too my sons cord aas wraped around his neck and his heaet neat was dropping so they wheeled me in to the operating room and I already had an epidural so they got me all hooked up and preped, let my fiance in and as soon as the cut me open they got my son out and started stitching me up. I couldn't go to sleep for that, I forgot why, but they sticrched the inside and glued the skin and took me to recovery. I was so pumped up with the pain meds that I was shaking alot and they had to put these things on my legs to make sure I don't get any blood clots

Hello. I had a emergency C-section. I thought my doctors did great. The super painful part is recovering.

Yes unfortunately right after they got him out I was put to sleep. They cleaned my son up and let my fiancé hold him and bring him over to show me, but I didn't hold him until I went to postpartum @jennaboo

It does give you a weird feeling in your stomach when they move you legs and you can't feel them. Always makes me nervous like this is what it would be like to be paralyzed. Creepy! I also get itchy afterwards when it starts to wear off.

I had an an emergency c section, so everything happened really quick. I walked to the operating room with my fiancé, they had him wait outside until I was all prepped. The anesthesiologist gave me my spinal (I honestly didn't feel a thing after I got the shot of lidocaine!) after the drape was up and I was laid down they let him in and he sat by my head. They put ice packs on my legs to see if I was numb (I couldn't feel them, that's just what my fiancé told me) then I felt some pressure, and at one point I felt my whole abdomen shift, I started to get nauseous but I just took some deep breaths and was fine. It was a little bit painful during that time, then the anesthesiologist pushed on my belly to help get my son out and then I heard him cry! They put me to sleep to stitch me up, and then I woke up in recovery.

This will be my 4th and they were all fine. I only get nervous about the epidural but women who have vaginal birth can get those too.
