Did anyone find out what they were having early in the pregnancy?

@jessica0830, that shows your baby boy's privates right lol? That was regular ob appointment? Because I'll be 3 days shy of 13 weeks at my next appointment

@jessica0830, don't mean to sound dumb. 1st time mom. What's NST scan? That's the same as nonstress test? Like a regular sonogram?

Yeah at 14 week. I did a blood work when I was 10 weeks.

Found out right at 12 weeks via blood test :)

@lovelybabybump27, it's fine! It's a regular scan that usually happens at around 13w checks for spinal deformities and the fluid under the baby's neck.

@jessica0830, oh okay. I don't want to do that test where they stick a needle in the baby to check for that! Is that the one?

Nst scan is ultrasound that focuses on the back of the neck.... If the consider anything high risk then theyll do the needle if not ure all set @lovelybabybump27

Me . found out the other day

@lovelybabybump27, noooo this is an ultrasound to asses the risk of neurotubule defects and checks the amount of fluid under the baby's neck (too much could me downs). The needle is an amnio which is only done if the risk for defects are high.
