So since no one commented yes or no, I'll ask again..
Has anyone been told they have or had a marginal cord insertion? It's where the umbilical cord isn't attached exactly in the middle of the placenta.. Doesn't harm the baby or anything, they just have to be carful after I deliver not to pull the placenta because it can detach.
I'm feeling like I would rather be safe than sorry, and get a c-section with this so I won't have complications with it getting detached while she's in there or after.

I would get a c section moma.no need for that risk when it's easier to control it with c section. (:

Yeah... That's what I'm thinking... My midwife didn't seem concerned... Being there's nothing you can do to change it. But being its not where it's supposed to be 100% I'd hate for her leg to get wrapped, and then it break as I'm delivering her.. Or for them to detach it, and cause me to hemorrhage 😳 I'm a big worry type of person... And all I want is my little girl to be born healthy with no issues. So I'll do whatever. @sumria

Well, there's two different ones... One where the cord is on the side of the placenta and one that is just a little out of the middle... @sumria and mine is just a little out of the middle.. So it's not that serious... But ultrasounds can be off... So I don't know how bad it is... On my next ultrasound we will know more... But like I said, I'd rather be safe than sorry, and if a csection will 100% guarantee best, I'm doing it

After going through a c section, I can promise you, you don't want one it sucks more than anything in this world. If you can go vaginally do it

@klove2016, my doctor said something about mine being the same way but she wasn't concerned . I plan on capsulizing the placenta for postpartum so I asked if it was a big deal and she said "we will keep an eye on it but it should be fine" so I'd keep asking questions, don't look up horror stories online, they will make you go nuts. Trust your doc / midwife
