she thinks it's inappropriate because she doesn't want my grandfather or brother to see my cleavage while I feed... my nipple didn't even show, I have small nipples... the areolo doesn't show either... it's so annoying

so now I have to either feed with a cover in the house or always walk downstairs to my room in the basement....

I breastfeed uncovered at home and out and abut as well. My fil usually just looks the other way. They're just boobs, it's society who has sexualzed them so much.

This was the same reason I failed at breastfeeding my first son. I'm sorry you're dealing with that. They don't realize you're constantly feeding and if you have to go sit by yourself, it's incredibly isolating. My MILs husband was a creep, she told me I wasn't allowed to breastfeed anywhere but our room. PPD hit shortly after.

With my second, we live in our own place. Literally I always have a boob hanging out, it's just the way it is. It's been successful so far. Can you join a local breastfeeding group? Having the extra support could be really beneficial for you.
