Did anyone else's OBGYN wait to schedule their first appointment till they were 9 weeks along?

Yes bc it's too early to tell anything before then

Oh yeah. Before 9/10 weeks the heart isn't fully formed yet, and once it is, it's too faint to be picked up..even with the internal Doppler they use for ultrasounds.

I had mine at 6 weeks both pregnancies. At 6 weeks your baby has a heart beat. They just did an internal ultra sound being that the baby is so small

And I also was able to hear and see my both babies heart beats at 6 weeks

I was about 6 weeks & my husband was leaving for deployment & I wanted to him to be there for at least one appointment so I told them I didn't know my lmp so I could be seen 🙈

I had my first ultrasound at 7 weeks with both babies.

I was seen at 6 weeks and I was able to hear and see my babies heartbeat

@kaitlynnjrames, I found out I was pregnant at 5 weeks. My OB wouldn't see me before 8 weeks. That way they could do ultrasound and hear heartbeat.

lucky! my first one was at 11 weeks

I didn't get in there until I was about 13 weeks
