I'm so ready for my (almost) 9mo old to be in her room. As of now, she's in a bassinet / crib in our room. But, I think it's time she is in her bedroom. I personally believe that mommy & daddy should have a separate space. The thing is, she's a TERRIBLE sleeper. She wakes up 2-3 times a night, and must be walked back to sleep. Besides the times she wakes up, she tosses and turns and if her paci pops out of her mouth, she looses it until it's back in. It's easy for me now to just reach over and put the paci back in her mouth. But, if she's in the other room, I won't hear her until she's fully awake and screaming for the pacifier. It's strange to me, because she doesn't want or need the paci during the day..just while she sleeps. I've tried letting her cry for a few mins to see if she will calm down on her own, or put the paci back in her own mouth, but, she doesn't. I think she's too sleepy to understand that she can do it herself. She just cries and wakes up. Any of you ladies have any recommendations? Should I just let her try it for a week and see if she figures if out on her own?

You can always have a goodbye pacifier party which is you get her pacifiers attached them to some balloons (keep her favorite just in case) and tell her that the babies in heaven need them that she is growing up she may understand you. Then released them into the air and wave bye bye to them. As well as before you do that try and have her sleep in her room by herself for a week and see how it goes she may surprise you
