I got an email saying it was reviewed. Went online and it said there's no cases involving my user id but when I called the automated system said I had coverage till July 31st and so did the person I had talked to. It is very weird @shelsynikkol

the app told me I was approved before I got anything in the mail, so that's kinda weird.

I did the application online. I'm already approved. I applied 4/7 and got the email saying I was approved 4/18 and I already confirmed it by phone. Just waiting for the letter to come in the mail which they said was scheduled to go out yesterday. @shelsynikkol

I didn't get approved for Medicaid until I was 20 weeks along and I signed up for it about 6 weeks 🙄 CALL them! I mean call them and bug them. also do the app, because they kept loosing my paperwork and the app I made sure it got to them. we had to talk to the supervisor because they kept loosing everything.

Okay I will. They said it was being sent out yesterday so if I do not receive it by tomorrow I will be calling to make sure it got sent out. @boenischpartyof5

They said they didn't know about the baby and I'd have to discuss that when she's born. And I just got approved April 18th and I have coverage until July 31st

Yeah there's a short list. I wanna say if I remember correctly, moms come off like 30 or 60 days post partum and babies stay on for the first year? Is that what you recall or what'd they tell you? I forgot 😐

Uhm I'm pretty sure I enrolled in Aetna. I only got it for my hospital bill and my daughters insurance once she's born. I'm finding a lot of Drs don't take Medicaid here :/ @cnew12

My mother in law who deals with insurance companies often says that Medicaid is actually changing everything come November and there will be packets sent out to everyone during the summer about it and you'll need to pick a new plan. Apparently someone else is taking over since Texas sucks at managing the Medicaid program. @t142

@emileeann43, I had that SAME problem. Talked to 3 people and the fourth person was able to finally fix what was going on. There are people there thst knows how the fix it and show your case, but you'll have to keep transferring from person to person to find one

Anything with Medicaid takes time. Totally frustrating because it's like 14-40 days. But you should get a Medicaid ID # and you can use that when you call your dr's and they'll be able to look you up without a card or whatever. Have you picked a plan or you sticking with traditional?

Nope. When I called they said it'd be sent out in the mail the next day(yesterday) because they had decided after 5. So I'm just waiting for it to come but online it doesn't say I have a case. They told me they couldn't tell me anything about what it says online because they don't actually run it a third party does so they have absolutely no clue and that they know the website sucks.

I've had it since December and mine doesn't show up online either. I've called and asked and they weren't helpful with anything. Just keep an eye on your mail cause they'll mail you tons of things that are important/beneficial!

That's so weird! Did you get your card yet? And case number?
