Quick question: I have a 2 month old and he will only sleep through the night tightly swaddled and strapped in his swing. Any tips for transitioning to laying flat in the crib with no swaddle? Thanks!

Swaddle him as long as you can. It's gives him the security he will basically let you know when he's done.
@mommabeardurso, I suppose swaddled still would be fine as long as we can lay him in his crib...we did the swing thing for the last month because he wouldn't sleep more than 2-3 hours. I'm a first time mom lol, I'm not sure how long he should be swaddled for. Thanks!

How long did you swaddle? Was it hard to break the habit of them needing to be swaddled to sleep? Do you swaddle during the day or only at night? Please tell me everything about swaddling!!!

Went to visit a friend today and their baby is almost 2 months old...And I don't wanna be judgemental, but it seems like she just sticks a binky in the baby's mouth to fix everything! The last two days that we’ve been home, I lay her swaddled flat in her bassinet and when I go to check on her, she’s on her side. I hate worrying about things and I’m really worried about this…
No problem, any time. Being swaddled might actually help with the transition.
