So as of my original due date I'm 34 weeks and 1 day however measuring 37 weeks and some odd days. I had to take the fetal fibronectin test last Tuesday and it came back positive. Yesterday I took it again for the second time and it also came back positive. I am currently waiting in the doctors office for the steroid shot to help the babies lungs. Does anyone know more information about the steroid. Also if you had a positive fetal fibronectin test how soon after that did you have your baby?

I haven't had my baby yet. we have tried keeping him in as long as possible. tried going into labor at 22 weeks and now I'm 35 wks
Ya but how long after you had the did you have the baby? @mccokel14
I'm not sure what that is. but I had to have the steroid shot to mature my baby's lungs and there isn't anything to worry about. its a good decision to make if they are concerned about early delivery to
