its to the religion part, but in the bible, you should be baptized, and now in order to be baptized you have to be apart of some religion... If you have or are reading the bible it will help you with these questions and help better understand.

@kelseys, I was raised a Christian. I know what it says. But my problem is my husband wants to convert to Islam but if he does I have to but he doesn't want to force it on me and I don't want to keep him from it .

you have to be Islam if he is?! yea that's forcing it and going too far. you get baptized when your ready, not made to do it.

that's insane! you need to think about and so does your husband because religion isn't something that should be forced at all. maybe look into more, and try it for a week or something, experiment with it and see how you like it or don't before making that decision.
