@lil_bigmama, my dogs got into a really bad fight today. my boyfriends dog is seriously food aggressive and attacked mine for walking passed the trash can, my dog is fed up with her bullying him and he honestly snapped on her. when my dog lunged back at her and attacked her back they landed on top of my 13 week old daughter who was sitting in her bouncey seat. after that he wouldn't let go of the other dog so I had to put her down and help my boyfriend try and pry his mouth open and break them up. when they broke up my dog bit my boyfriends hand and wouldn't let go. my boyfriend had to roll over and body slam him into the ground to get him to let go. they always get into fights, usually my dog just defends himself until my boyfriend grabs them both and snatches them off the ground by the collars. but I think my dog was so bad today because my boyfriends dog landed on the baby and my dog is seriously protective of the kids and he's sick of her shit. like she will try to fight him over an empty plate we set a sandwich on 2 hours ago, and he will just tuck his tail and walk away when all he wanted was to come to me on the couch and get pet.

Wow!! Im glad y'all are okay. Hopefully yall can get the dogs trained so they can be around the baby.

@zarimom1, it could have been soooo much worse. both our dogs needs their nails clipped bad, they could have scratched her face or her eyes. or they could have broken a bone if they landed wrong on her, or accidently bit her. but thankfully my boyfriends dog who has a lot of fur (mine has none) landed on her so it wasn't like she was getting pounded with solid bone and muscle, and neither of their feet or teeth got her.

@mrs.castro05, I told my boyfriend I will work nights and weekends (when I only wanted to work mornings) to make enough money to pay to send her to this awesome trainer we've been looking at he trained self defense dogs, and he also needs to get her fixed. (she's 5 years old and he refuses to do it regardless of the risks of cancer going up every time she's in heat) if he can't get her food aggression under control both dogs need to go. and I love them both so much, they're like my kids. but they're not worth my daughters lives.
