When did you mommies. start looking for a pediatrician . I am due in July and I don't know when I should start looking. I am a first time mom

I didn't start actively looking until I was 9 months. A week prior to being induced is when I called my hospital and told them who I wanted my daughters pediatrician to be. But my OBGYN gave me a list of doctors for her when I was about 7 months.

You can probably ask your ob's office for a list of pediatricians in your area they usually have one

I am 33 weeks and I haven't even started looking either. I've had recommendations but I don't have the foggiest idea. There will be one assigned to you at the hospital as well then you can go from there to whoever you want.
