Feeding my daughter is harder than when I fed my son I formula fed both but she is so difficult we had her on supplementing formula when I was breastfeeding now she is on sensitive an still has so much gas an spits up/throws up all the time 😒 probably have to put her on spit up formula she goes to the dr next week sometime I'll try the spit up an if it doesn't work hopefully her dr will have an solution I have a feeling she is gonna be lactose intolerant like my husband 😏

@lovemyboys4, for the most part she is fine laying in this little bed I have for her that isn't completely flat she only throws up during the daytime she didn't throw up today tho just spit up so I'm hoping the spit up formula will work for now with her until her dr appointment next week right now she is sleeping in this swing so her head is elevated I'll see how she does tonight in it! First night sleeping in it

sounds just like my boy! he's so good! Doesn't fuss or cry even when he would puke. does she have a problem with laying on her back? my son cannot, he will puke, mostly just spit, mid sleep and stay asleep if he's on his back sleeping for too long. I have finally figured out how to prop him up just enough so he's not flat and hopefully cannot roll over onto the pillow he's using, or slouching too much. I tried the similac sensitive formula too for lactose sensitive babies, didn't puke as much but still not happy with how much was coming back up. hopefully you don't have to feed soy like mine. I haven't heard very good things about it. so I'm hoping at my 4 month appt Dr will will tell me I can start with foods, so less soy for him. let me know how it goes! you're the first person I've heard having lactose AND reflux issues like me!

Well she literally just threw up her bottle all over me 😩 an I just got the spit up formula for her an was mixing it with her old to switch her over. I think she has acid reflux an she is lactose intolerant like my husband cause when I would breastfeed she would get red spots all over an I drink milk a lot 🙁 she pukes like twice a day my poor thing her dr appointment is I think Tuesday @lovemyboys4 but plus side she isn't fussy

my Dr told me to add rice. my guy who is on soy bc he is lactose, also has reflux issues. the rice helps a lot with the spit up. can't sleep flat on his back but a lot less throwing up!

My son is the same way, and he was dx'ed with Acid Reflux - he is now on Zantac, 0.5 mg 2x a day and is exclusively breastfed, however - now I am giving him 1 or 2 bottles of expressed bm a day mixed with 1 tbsp of rice cereal to thicken the milk and keep it down as per his doctor. It's working really well.
