Did any of you mommies had problem making your little ones drink out of a sippy cup with a hard spout instead of a soft one? My daughter is 14 months, and although technically she'd be a year on May because she was a micro preemie the doctors are telling me I should start giving her drinks on a sippy cup. Well my daughter refuses to drink from them no matter how hard I try.

Yup, she drinks out of the ones with soft spouts. It's the one with the hard ones she doesn't like. They said I should try to start getting her to drink out of the hard ones as well, but it's not working. @mommysweigart

@mommysweigart, I have been giving her milk and juice or whatever in the soft ones. They're just wanting her to be doing good and it's not behind since she was a micro preemie 3 months earlier.

My daughter is preemie too and she will not drink out the hard ones at all. I just use the soft ones and she likes them and my doctor hasn't said anything about getting her to drink out the hard ones. Preemies will do thing on their own time you should never force something on them. Take your time and just continues on the soft

Thank you @amaperalta03 I guess they just want her to advance, even though she's been doing good.
