do you feel anything before your water breaks? or is it just like BAM! LOL just curious

U feel a warm sensation

with only 1 of 4 pregnancies where my water broke on its own, it was a small gush (like if you pee when sneezing or coughing)... but I hadn't done either, I was just standing there. this happened twice before I went in, and I had a larger amount walking into the clinic.. I've heard of it being a much larger volume, but probably depends on where the baby is stationed.

my sister in law said she felt a pop while she was standing up and as she was walking away her water broke

I was having contractions for a few days before mine broke, didn't feel anything different when it did, just felt like I peed myself a little

I was on the toilet lol I had gotten up early in the morning 6am to pee did my buisness wiped and went to stand up and this big gush of water came out.. I sat back down and was like that can't be pee I pushed and more came out.. Contractions started immediately! Pretty light like meat dual cramps I ate a bowl of oatmeal and went to the hospital lol
