My SO is an electrician and he said you need to call someone because you could have a neutral burning out

Do you know any electricians? Maybe you can get someone to come out and make sure it's not your outlet. That way it will never happen again if it is and you can then tell cvs that u know for sure it's their humidifier, if it's not.
