It's not a 100% cure for it. You can most certainly get the flu. It's mutates it's strain every year. It's a virus that's what they do that's why they can't come up with a cure for it cause it mutates around the vaccine each year. They give you the shot for the most likely strain to present in that flu season. The one that actually presents can be totally different and then your shot is obsolete

@1sttimemommy2016, yes you can my little brother got the swine flu shot back when it was around and not even 2 days later ended up with the swine flu

Unfortunately yes even after getting the flu shot you can still catch the virus, like @lil_bigmama said it doesn't cover all strains of the flu

There injecting you dead and alive antibodies I think lol so your antibodies have to respond to it if your immune system is weak than you will get the " flu " but if you have a strong immune system than you won't feel much. If heard horrible things that's why I don't get it

Yes. The flu shot is a "dead" form of the virus strain. You're Essentially putting the flu virus inside your body. It's a dead form to get your system prepared to fight the live virus. So yes you can get sick from this

Yes u can it only covers 4 or the god knows how many flus

Sometimes it can give you a few days of flu like symptoms. When the flu shot is developed every year they are only guessing the strains. Sometimes they are wrong so people get the flu anyways.
