Is it absolutely necessary to get on birth control at my 6 week apt? I'm 21 and never been on birth…

I decided not to get it at my six weeks appointment for that reason

I have never taken birth control either. I still don't. I see it as a I do it at my own risk and I like it. No bc for me haha it's just something they suggest because we're super fertile until we get our first periods

@amberlynn95, @kreeblim did you guys wait to have sex until after your 6 week apt? I'm 5 weeks PP and my husband said we had to wait until I'm cleared haha

I was on the pill because I'm anemic and was losing too much blood. I stayed active but never had mood swings or anything like that. My fiancé and I decided to have a baby and boom 2 months later off birth control I was pregnant.

I was on birth control for 10+ years and I would never use any form of it again. Everyone I know that was using it was diagnosed with PCOS or major hormone issues and have trouble getting pregnant. Luckily I bet the odds by having a healthy lifestyle.

Well no I slipped up cuz I had a drink or two like 3 weeks after I had my baby n I was drunkish so no but I should've waited

@jaxmomma, I had emergency gallbladder surgery 2 days after my pp appt so we didn't get to have any fun until like 15 weeks pp.

I have tried both the pill and the depo shot and I will never do either of them again! I had pretty much every side effect that it said I would have!
