How many cm dilated do you have to be before your hospital admits you? My doctor told me when I'm at a 4. I was at a 3 last week and 80% effaced, hoping I'm dilated more so they'll keep me tomorrow. 😁

my hospital says 6cm. idk if its different for each hospital or not. but good luck!

its not the hospital its the Dr. with my son I was at a 3 and admitted in TX, I was a 4 with my daughter and admitted in OK. They usually notify your Dr and it's up to them to keep you or not.
