Yes an it did not work that had to try other ways but everyone is diffent

Thank you ladies! my sister ended up with a C section as well! I'm hoping things are different for me!

I was 41 weeks

I had that put in first. It dialated me to 1/2 cm. Then I was on cytotech for almost two days with a foley bulb in. I got to 4 cm and they started pitocin. Baby got stuck in my pelvis so I had to get a c-section. I labored for 47 hours. It was intense.

They gave me cervidil at 33 weeks and 4 days and 12 hours passed and it didn't do anything the first time so they put it in again and after another 12 hours I was only 1cm. Then they put a dissolving pill up by my uterus that didn't work. then they done the balloon on me. and I got to 3cm with that. Then thats when they started the pitocin and hours later with the contractions it made my sons heartbeat drop so I ended up having an emergency csection.

The cramps began when I used this.

I was induced with it... it took me two doses which they both took about 12 hours each for my cervix to soften up... then after that they started the pitocin... my induction was a failure that ended up in csection but don't let that discourage you. I later found out my pelvic bone was too small and that was probably the main culprit.. good luck!

That's what I got first. They gave it to me and I almost immediately started having contractions but they still had to give me pitocin roughly about 12 hours later.
