Genetic Defect Blood Test

We are finding out tomorrow!! I can't wait!! Congratulations!!!

How'd you get the test? 12 wk doctors visit or specialist? Only super curious because my appointment coming up. How accurate is it? @ban ynumber2ontheway

I got it at the 12 week appt. I wasn't aware I was getting blood work done that day cuz my office sucks as communicating. But I was excited when they said it can detect gender!

Ohhh && how soon did you find out? Is it that test where they draw blood directly from the baby?

I got it drawn from my arm. They took like 4 "test tube" looking things and was really hard for me to watch!! Lol you find out 10 days after they take the blood @lovelybabybump27

Ohhh so maybe that's what I gave my blood work for after my 8 wk check up. They said I'd get the result at my next appointment. Which is in a few days, when I'll be 12 weeks. Sorry to ask so many questions. You just have me excited now. To know what they will tell me! I thought you did the test when they stick a needle in the fetus && draw blood from the baby. @babynumber2ontheway

That's awesome. I had the same blood work done on Wednesday. I had to go to a lab to get it done. Hope to find out by Friday or Monday. 😀
