Good evening Ladies.. I need help please. I just used my doppler and the FHR monitor showed the heartbeat around 130ish, pretty close to 140. is it normal? I don't know what the average heartbeat for a 15 week old fetus.. I hope I can get some inputs. Thank you!

Yeah that's normal and indicated a little girl around 140bpm and over ☺️xx @mioaurellia

my little man's is always over 140bpm when I'm on monitor so yeah normal xx

Thank you for the reply @courtniegeexo and @leigh-amyxo ,I was just wondering cus I counted the heartbeat per second for 15 seconds and i got 40 beats for 15 seconds which amounted to 160 per minute. I wonder if the FHR monitor is accurate. (I always take my own pulse ever since I got pregnant, and this was something I learnt from a medical website). now I don't know which one to go by, my own calculations or the monitor.. xx

heart beats are always higher when baby is active and lower when baby is resting Xxx

So it can vary throughout the day, @babyboots ? oh wow, I didn't know that, I thought the FHR is consistent throughout the day. Thank you hun! xx
