Is there any way you can file a petition for changing her last name? I know next to nothing about law, but maybe see? If you get married before the baby is born, and don't add O'Brien to the birth certificate, they can't stop you from using his last name. @motheroftwojk

@kpaul21, I'm looking into anything I can do to get them signed all I wanted was to add the name but now I'm thinking about taking his rights away completely in case something happens later in life like we try to move and he rejects that .. && he's literally never done anything and has so many run in with the police after we separated I found out that he has charges of rape and sodomy and kidnapping and multiple drug charges so it should be easy to get them taken away

@babymama85, Obrien is the father of my 1year old Jordyn he's already signed the birth certificate for her and she has his last name , Deanthony is my fiance he has raised jordyn since she was an infant and I'm pregnant with our son , but we will be married before our son arrives but Deanthony wants all of us to have the same last name as a family so I would have to ask O'Brien for permission to add a name to jordyn name because he is on her birth certificate but he doesn't want to sign them so now I will have to take him to court and get his rights revoked as her father

im going through the exact same thing my daughter is almost 6 he's never ever done or been there my h.s sweetheart has been there every step of the way including his entire family now he's having his first biological child we want all our names the same so she dont feel left out in the long run do what you have to do to insure ur babies happiness.. I'm taking him to court and have the judge order whats right

@kimoramom, we are going through the exact same situation , I think that's what I'm going to do is just take him to court and let it be court ordered
