stress stress stress. I wish I knew how to handle every situation easily and calmly. I regret renting the apartment I'm in. my lease is up soon and my house I'm renting is almost ready. So ready to get in there and get situated. and have no more stress. thankfully my landlord for the house is a sweet old man. the owner as well. and is a very caring person. if I need anything fixed at all, told me to always call him or he'll have his guy come out. also my husband is handy. so that works great. This apartment has been incredible stress. I always want to avoid the office management because they don't care and they will sit there and argue with you. since all apartments management keep your deposit anyways, should I even bother to clean out the fridge and oven? their gonna charge me anyways. I have to pay a $700 reletting fee now, because I'm a few days late on giving a 60 day notice. only because I talked with the manager before that 60 days and she told me she would contact me. and that I have plenty of time. wtf ever just give me the damn bill. Shes got me furious. I've never been charged that before. my husband just told me to tell them okay and have the bill sent to me. will pay it a little at a time so it's not sent to collections. anything for me to get out of the stressful situation and not put stress on my pregnancy. I don't want to pay the damn bill. but I also don't want to sit here and argue with them. so since I have that $700 bill. should I even expect to get a deposit back? and I should probably expect for them to tackle on more money as well. Cause that's all they want. money money money. I've cleaned up every apartment I've lived at and still have had my deposit kept and charged for more afterwards. this is my last apartment. renting my house, while building my credit. once it's built I plan to buy a brand new home.

I would fight that bill. bc you relied on them to contact you. or take it to court. you can prove when you called them to let them know. or fight to get your deposit back. or call it even if you don't get the deposit then they don't give you the bill..

@lucyyxoxo_, my father in law's my co signer. he's gonna talk with them today. I plan to call their corporate. it's just very stressful on me. It's fucking bullshit honestly. I don't understand how an apartment manager can sit there and yell at you. I never even got a reminder on my door or mailbox stating it was time to renew my lease. she argued with me about it. said she's got a copy there with the date on it. but I didn't receive the notice. so that's violation of their lease. their supposed to give me the notice. so I'm guess the kids always playing on my porch grabbed it off. the apartment manager never made sure that I got the notice. we don't even have clips outside our doors for them to put the note. if they cared they would have made sure it got to my hands or in my mailbox. not on my door where someone else could grab it or it could be blown off.

well just leave it in your husbands hands and you2 FIL. I know you don't need the stress but they shouldn't get away with that. it's money you can be using towards your baby..

@lucyyxoxo_, that's how I feel too. apartment managers always try to get money out people. I haven't been too happy living here. the apartment is fine. I moved in with some problems and nothing had been taking care of. every time I talked with them i was getting argued with. even their maintance man would stalk me and stair through my window. I should have called the cops a few times. but I just decided to close my blinds and stayed away from him. told the management here and they completely blew it off and stuck up for the dude.

that's crazy. I hope this all turns out the way you want. at least you are getting a fresh start at your new place. you can leave this behind

@lucyyxoxo_, definitely a fresh start will make everything much better. when I feel down about this situation my husband tells me how much better I'm gonna feel once when in our house, and we'll have our beautiful twins. we won't have to deal with this situation again. He's not on this lease, so there's nothing much he can do, even though he wishes he could. we'll be on our house lease together. and our landlord is a very good person. he's the only one we'll deal with. makes everything much easier. and my husband will be the one handling any situation if need be. definitely stress off my back.

@lucyyxoxo_, I'll be paying two rents for next month. I should hopefully be moving into my house the end of this month early next month. the house is being completely remodeled. so regardless I still have time because my lease is up at the end of may. I just worry about my twins coming early. I'll be induced in 8 weeks. I need to get the babies room settled. I could have stayed here, bit I definitely wanted out, and I need a bigger place. I have a 4 year old and twins on the way. the house 4 bedrooms 1 1/2 bath. and a backyard I've been needing. so it'll be alot more space for a family of 5.

yea might as well fix your babies room in your new house. it would be more of a hassle moving everything out once the twins are born.
