Monitoring during labor is a pain in the butt. Hate being hooked up to all these monitors and thanks to the shape of my bump, they constantly have to readjust them.

On another note, it is a pain in the butt fighting a rising blood sugar due to a sugar drip. Why would anyone give a diabetic a sugar drip??? I just don't understand.

The doctors would probably agree with you though

I understand possibly inactive labor if I would start to go low while insulin gets adjusted, but right now during latent labor I have to take about 20% more insulin just to cover the drip.

Probably (and I'm not a doctor so I'm not 100%) because when muscles contract they use up glucose in ypur body.. they want to make sure your glucose doesn't drop due the labor.
