I've had something flue like that lasted almost 3 weeks, and I also had a flu jab. it evolves too quickly, so the jab doesn't give us full protection :(

im hoping its a bad cold but my hole body aches x

Hello, congratulations and welcome!!...tbh the flu jabs just like many vaccines only protect against certain strains of the virus and not all. I've taken it before when I first started as a nursing student and I didn't get the flu but then again I've only ever had it once in my life (touch wood lol). They tell you to take it as a precaution but there's every chance that depending on the strain you get it won't work, especially if it's not flu but a very bad cold instead (I've had plenty of those lol) xx
