What's your opinion on paying 60 on a birthing class so I know what to expect when it's time ?

I didnt know some people actually have to pay for it. I chose not to do it. I can practice as much as I want. I still wont be prepared for pushing a tiny human out my hole. 😂

Lol well at least it's only 60. If you got it, do it. And congrats momma😊 I'm a FTM too. My class was at my hospital too but it didn't cost. It was actually fun. Even having to get on the floor and practice breathing techniques and fake pushing lol

We didn't do any classes. It wasn't much like I expected but it was at the same time. I wouldn't waste the money. But that's just me

Lol I just want to experience it for myself that's why I'm gonna pay it plus it's my first baby too .. & I agree it should be free but they have to make money someway @raegenice

everyone is different. I really wanted to go to one to be informed on all my options and to know what to expect for labor and delivery and stuff. my class was at my hospital so it also came with a full tour of the l&d floor. they talked about breathing techniques, massage techniques, medicine options, breast feeding, signs of labor, etc. I really enjoyed my class and feel a lot more prepared for labor now being a ftm.

I don't understand why birthing class isn't free everywhere. It's necessary education 😕 if I'd had to pay for mine I would have just gone on YouTube, Google, and talked to people for all of my info.
