Experienced moms:
So, be honest, how terrible is the first poo after giving birth?
@aa7iyah, We were on the fence between birthing center (attached to the hospital) and a home birth. For our first, I think we wanted the comfort of knowing that emergency services were close by just in case. But we plan on doing it as close to home birth as possible. No drugs, in the tub as much as possible, freedom of movement. My husband is super supportive and we do our practice relaxation and pushing positions every night.
My mom wanted me to look into those classes but I was too lazy so I winged it. Labor is not what some people make it seem. I hate pain! But it wasn't bad at all... Birth isn't either. I would say the contractions are what minded my butt. Do you plan on epidural?
I'm having a boy. I am also taking Bradley classes and learning a lot about pain management and relaxation. I hope it helps!
There were times I couldn't even sit for long periods of time. I was so mean due to the amount of pain I was in. What are you having?
I don't want to scare you but I don't want to lie either........ Labor is much better than the after labor pains, atleast from my experience. 😩
Yeah! It was pretty terrible. I was cut AND got stitches. I couldn't poop for 2 almost 3 weeks 😭
It sounds pretty terrible either way. Especially if you tear and get stitches. Yikes!
Awww that's so cool! You're very brave! Kudos to you guys. I wouldn't have been able to do that with my first. You're almost there too!
