@xoamac, mine is 2 weeks today he's about 6lbs. he's drinking similac sensetive. I think it's suppose to help with gad but it doesnt. his tummy always sounds like he's hungry but we think it's gas. he's always complaining. what's gripe water?
This exact thing happened to my son at 2 weeks old!! He just turned 4 weeks old today and he's officially much better. We've been giving him a teaspoon of gripe water before feedings and it helped so much! He's all better now. Usually for under a month you're only supposed to give them half a teaspoon but my son is 10 pounds. He might as well be a month old and half wasn't working as well
@mhaley1223, @whitney I'm just having trouble putting him to sleep. like he falls asleep we put him down and he wakes up too! he only wants to be on my chest . but then even if he's on my chest he will still scream in his sleep and moves a lot like he's not comfortable
Type in Gas relief for babies and some good ones will pop up. watch a few to feel more comfortable with how to do it. helps my baby fart liter r a Lynn every time I do it when she is fussy.
Oh no not that young. I'd wait until he's at least a month. For now gas drops, baths (if his cord is off ) and rocking his legs gently up and down.
@mhaley1223, how do I look for it on youtube? what should I type sorry I'm so clueless right now
have you tried massaging his belly and grabbing his thighs from the back of his leg and pressing up to his belly not hard but enough to help for gas mover? Look on YouTube it seriously works. or laying them on their belly helps too.
they just told me that baby has to be at least a month for pear juice
@mhaley1223, okay I will try my son is 2 weeks old and he gets fuzzy when he's asleep. like he scream crys then goes back to sleep
I recommend an ounce of pear juice! My baby used to get horrible trapped gas and his pediatrician said pear juice and it's been a life saver!!
usually after but if she won't eat I'll give them when I feel she is too fussy because of gas and give her the boob to help wash down the taste.
Yes they work and moat of the time she poops an hour or so after sometimes she just farts a lot. it helps break the big gas bubbles into smaller ones.
I would just give him just half a teaspoon then.. It comes with the measuring syringe. It helps with gas, colic, and hiccups.
