so I was eating panda and there was kung pao chicken I ate like 4 small peices tiny peices then realized it was a bit spicy is that going to affect my breast milk? ? will I still be fine??

I eat kung pao chicken all the time and I breastfeed and it don't do anything to my milk

i have had spicy food affect my milk my lo, 5 weeks old, will get so upset w her tummy she'll fuss all night :( so i stay away. everyone is different though. unfortunately you have to try foods and see which ones they handle @babybee

but if you look up what foods to avoid during bf. they include spicy. food, broccoli, asparagus, dairy ect

Definitely not off limits, but don't over due it, my man made me really spicey food with habaneros in it and baby girl was mad when she nursed, didn't like that spicy milk LOL and had the runs the whole day 😢 I still eat spicy food almost every day though, just not TOO much hahaha

don't rush to be negative because your baby may take it will, that is just a food that will make u gassy. so they " say" stay away. but u have to see for yourself it is bittersweet because you get to eat the food you want but have to see ok Is baby fussy or did thatnot bother baby at all! hopefully your baby likes broccoli :) wish mine did cuz i love it lol @babybee
