I hate that Mackenzie's dad side of the family doesn't want to be bothered with her or acts like she doesn't exist. It really makes me regret having a child with someone that has a family like that.

especially since we are African American our children can look like our great great grandmoms twice removed cousin
@jozell01 like we can choose the color our baby will be. makes me wonder if that's why my baby isn't cared for. her dad is light skin and she came out in between. you just never know with crazy ass folks these days.
exactly ! I hate that shit ( excuse my language ) just because my son is light like EVERYONE on his dads side except for the dad they won't accept him . it makes absolutely no sense

that's how my boyfriend's family is with me and our son . they said that we aren't family nor will we ever be
I pray that they will come around eventually. But she will have an amazing life regardless.
Don't regret it because she will get so much love from you, him and your family that she will not know what to do. it is there loss!
