What do you mean by preparing?

for the baby to come sooner?

@proudmommy2344, yeah what do you mean? Doesn't mean baby is coming any time soon. Dilation can take weeks if that's what you're asking.

I got sooo excited when I was pregnant with my first son and the Dr told me I was dilated 1 cm. I thought I was going to be going into labor in the next day or 2! lol it was more like 2-3 weeks later!! but I was 18 and didn't have a clue. @candacelouise

But like preparing how? Lol. There's a lot of things that go into preparing for baby. If you don't have your hospital bag packed, I'd suggest doing that just because you're 33 weeks. Washing things that you'll be using for baby if you haven't yet. I just don't know what you mean by preparation. Though you have only dilated to 1cm and that could mean nothing because it could take you until 40 weeks to dilate anywhere near where you need to to have a baby, doesn't mean that you couldn't be one of the ladies who dilates in a week and is having a baby. I guess I'd just suggest getting everything ready for baby that you'd need to whether they will come soon or not.

@michellevaldez4750, hahaha, I was nervous when they told me that last week that I was 1-2. I was like nooooooo... 🙈 guess I need to start mentally preparing!

@candacelouise, yeah, it definitely becomes more "real" when that happens :)
