Frustrated. My boyfriend has not gotten up during the middle of the night with Tripp at all since we've been home. Then he's sleeping until 9:30 in the morning like he's been up all night while I've been up since 7:00 with him getting him ready for the day. Then he gets up to leave & go do yard work and doesn't even acknowledge his son. My God I know he came out of ME but that doesn't mean he gets to sit back and do nothing!! When I address the problem I hear "I came home and held him"..... 😡😤 don't even get me started. I'm heated

S/O have it very easy. You just have to learn to hand the baby over and walk away and tell him it's his turn cause you need a break. There is no reason at all he can't take the baby for an hour or so.

@courtlynn8, I think that's part of my problem too :( I have such a hard time handing him over & I think that's just me being a new mom but it's still ridiculous! I have to ask him to hold his son when he gets home.. That's the part that frustrates me most is that I constantly have to ask him to do things he as a dad should already be doing!

I'm in the same boat but I had a talk to with my boyfriend n told him it's not just my baby it's yours too you can help take care of her it's not gunna kill you n momma needs a break for an hr or so. I'll help him but I try to let him do it on his own so he understands what I go through so he respects me more.
