How was the first time your baby came home in how was your emotions

Had a c section & no help except for my BF (who has never been around babies & knew nothing) so i didnt really trust him to take care of her by himself. I know the first two weeks i was very anxious, always worried something was going to happen to her. But other than that, i felt very happy to finally have my little girl. Its the greatest feeling & all the nights ive stayed up watching her sleep are so worth the sleep deprivation lol

excited, blessed, tired, super protective, warm and fuzzy inside, emotional about life

I guess I didn't quite answer lol but my emotions were mostly just tired and thankful. I experienced a little post partum depression after about a week but was able to push thru it with the help of my loved ones.

the drive home was freaking me out because I was so protective of her. but once we got home it was so amazing. being able to put our nest to use was fantastic. I never wanted to leave and I think we were both okay with that!! can't wait for second baby to come!
