and if your Dr said to watch your diet then do it.... she needs to back off she isn't a dr.... I was 6 pounds 5 ounces and my husband was 6 pounds 8 ounces.... our son was 5 pounds 5 ounces at 32 weeks 4 days and our daughter was 7 pounds 4 ounces at 39 weeks it obviously doesn't matter

@sarahdrew, :that's what I tried to tell her abd she thinks hell be just like his dad I'm like yea no he won't he's gonna be bigger and I've tried to tell her abd she's like I'm not missing this and all that I was like technically u are cause ur not coming in the room while I'm in labor nor are u after she thinks she has to be involved since it's her first biological grand child

@beezy_mcflyy, you to idk how to get her to relax I told my husband that if we moved back to my mom's his mom is gonna be mad cause my mom sees my son more which she's going to anyway cause I can actually do stuff at my mom's his mom's is boring

I got kinda lucky my mil hates hospitals and elevators so she wasn't there either time (she did come to the nicu to see my son but only 1 time)... make sure you tell the nurses who is and who isn't allowed while in labor and then say no visitors until a certain time after that way they are the bad guy

@sarahdrew, she even took some of the extra stuff that I got from my baby shower to keep at her house cause she thinks she's gonna keep him while he's a baby I was uh that's pointless like she took the extra carseat highchair and bath chair I was really that is freaking pointless cause ur not keeping him

@mw1620, I don't kno how u deal with that. I was getting irritated with her just by reading what u were commenting about what she does. Lol. I would do what @sarahdrew said. And make the hospital the bad guys not U. Bc u have to deal with her for the rest of ur life. The hospital doesn't. And as for taking ur extra stuff I would have flipped. After my baby shower me n my fiancé took the extra stuff we got back to the store to get stuff we really needed but didn't get. And my mom will b keeping our soon sometimes to babysit and I still didn't give her anything. She just plans on either buying it her self or getting it off the yard sale site. Or I'll just send my son to her with the pack n play or whatever. Like ur mil is being too pushy n if she were mine I would flip the fuck out (pardon my language.) I'm lucky my mil is nothing like that.

@rmuscolino11, yea she is when she took all the extra stuff like as she was pulling out of the drive way my husband was like what was the point of giving us stuff if u were going to take it back like the extra bath chair I was going to give to my little sister cause my nephew needs one I already had it in the car to take to my mom's and she wouldn't shut up till he walked out there and got it I literally looked at him and was like uh I'm giving that to my sister and he's like well she isn't gonna stop till she gets it so now my nephew dosent have a bath chair and I'm like what the hell I was like I hope she knows that he's not staying at her house like forever so there was no point in here taking that stuff when I could of gave it to my nephew so now and like the high chair thing it's just something u slip over a chair and she took it back after she gave it to my at my shower I was like what the hell is the point and then the little high chair thing she did let us keep she's like u can take that with u to restaurants and all that I was like I highly doubt I'll use the damn thing and I'm not taking a high chair to a restaurant they have highchairs there there is nothing wrong with my kids using them then she seemed to get all aggervated when she found out we bought a bumbo seat she's like well what's that for I was like so it helps his back and it's easier to carry around then a portable highchair and she's like I didn't pay all that money for u not to use anything I freaking bought I was like I didn't say I wasn't gonna use it I'm just saying that this is what I used with my youngest and this is what I found out that worked the best she's like well u better use my stuff or I'll be pissed all I could think was are u freaking kidding me u got so much unnessaserry things that I never used for my girls and I did just fine I'm glad she helped alot but in a way I wish I would've just bought everything with my husband so i wouldn't have all this extra stuff like my son's not even here yet and she bought him a brand new front facing toddler seat I was like are u freaking kidding me my girls toddler seats aren't even as fancy as this one is like I feel like my girls are getting the shit end of the stick cause I had to have the head start help me get the carseats my girls have and she gose out and gets my son one that's really fancy which idk if I'll even use cause my oldest is about to go to a booster chair and my youngest is about to get my oldest and then he can have his sisters I just don't think it's right my son has literally got everything brand new and my girls always had hand me downs Like after he hits like 6 months hell have used cloths but everything else is brand new

My boyfriends father is like a mother in law from hell!! He comes over and re organizes my kitchen aNd laundry room and then proceeds to tell me how I will raise my child and what I can and cannot do. I have been cleaning like crazy for my daughters arrival and he comes over and tells me it's a disaster and I need his help. I am most likely going to breast feed, but I know that sometimes it doesn't work very well for some mothers and formulae feeding is not the end of the world... And he cut me off and told me that is not n option. Pregnancy is about mommy and baby. No one else. People suck sometimes ...

@shayleighnikole, damn girl yea I'm breastfeeding also but I have a counter full of bottles and binkys and all thay mainly from his mom I was okay I've told u I am breast feeding she bought me the pillow but didn't buy me the cover and I told my husband that I will not be going over there if it's time for him to eat cause I'm not doing that in front of his mother nor his sister that's why I was going to get a can of formula for when he did want to go over there but I don't want to give him a bottle and him not want to breastfeed anymore I had that issuse with my girls
