Cali moms, question: I make decent money, and boyfriend makes good money. we're not married. I pay half of the rent and bills plus my car payment and insurance each month so obviously not making my face value of my salary each month, but wondering if for only groceries, I could qualify for WIC in California since I'm legally single and expecting? I know they usually go off of your pre-tax salary which makes it look like I make more than I really take home, just asking because it'd help so incredibly much. but I would never take advantage especially knowing moms that need it much more than me, I just go through on and offs with him and he isn't always financially supportive and it'd be so helpful just for food. thanks in advance!
i know if your not married you might be able to get it I think if you also have medical you get it
I'm in Sacramento also mama I'd love to help @marienoelle
You can still apply also look at Cash Aid for xtra $$ monthly if you don't qualify for food stamps
I would go in and apply. I'm not married and I got it. It's great to have the resources! Dietary help, Lactation consultant, they let me rent a breast pump, classes and I do get some groceries. Worst they can say is no. :)
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
thanks ladies so much! you've been very helpful. @mami appreciate it! like I said I work full time and am not in extreme need or anything, I wouldn't ever claim benefits I don't need (like medical or cash/ebt) because I feel I don't need them even if I qualify there are ladies that need it more than I do, but for groceries I would be grateful to have help since again I'm mostly on my own. but I'll go in and see what they say :) thanks again ladies
