Don't throw the food away anymore when she eats it and says shes done put it in the microwave until she says shes hungry again. If she doesn't want to eat it then she doesn't eat anything. Simple as that show her who is in charge. Thats your money going in the trash!

My son turned 4 years and hasn't been much an eater the last year. He will eat stuff he wants but then he won't eat too much.

when we call her dad it works everytime though lmao. she'll cry sometimes but I figure hey atleast she's not hungry lol. don't feel bad about the candy/chips thing though, ALL kids go crazy for candy and chips 😂

my step daughter does the same thing, she's 6 turning 7. when she comes with me she'll say she's hungry but won't eat home cooked food, she only will eat pb&j sandwiches! she'll only eat if I sit down and watch her and makes sure she eats a good amount of her plate or if I threaten to call her dad. I think she does it because she knows I'm not her mom so I really can't "make" her do anything

@ashleyhunter, my daughter is 5 years old maybe include her in making the food with get her to eat it I know I just started doing that and my daughter will eat all her food

She's 3 turning 4 in June....I do monitor when she eats and how much but it's weird because she will eat all her food that she really likes like oatmeal corn dogs pizza etc now she doesn't idk if her mom is just giving her junk food and she eats all that but I'm not doing that waisting food Mmhmm no ma'am lol @kayla93

Omg my daughter is like that as well but that is because she grazes all day which means she eats a little here a little there

I'd monitor when she eats so that if she says she's hungry you know how long ago she ate and then can decide how much food she needs or if she just needs a snack. Or give her only a little bit of something at a time. depending on her age she may just be looking for attention because she knows a new baby is coming.
