honestly..I'm happy i waited until my late 20s to have my first child... i went to college.. got lazy.. worked 3 jobs at a time.. got in a commited relationshio, married , looking into homeownership .. i hate when they try to make you feel bad because you didnt have your kids at 19/20 saying I'm going to be an old mom

LOL late 20s is NOT old mom status! I think some people might be trying to make themselves feel better about "young mom" status or something... you're at a good age and there's no tie to age vs preparedness, it all comes natural when you're ready! :)

@marienoelle maybe thats what it is.. its just soo tiring to hear.. oh well i had my early soo ill have more time with my baby.. =/ i still consider myself young lol

Wow, I will be 34 when my first baby is born. Married, own a home, have a career with enough sick leave/vacation built up that I can take 20 weeks off paid. And I have been all around the world with enough life experience to guide my children well. The best advice I was given (by my own mother) was don't have kids until you're 30.
