🚨 RANT 🚨
People ignoring SIDS safety guidelines blows my mind. I understand that doctors aren't always right and that nothing beats a mothers intuition, but it really bugs the hell out of me when someone takes the advice over one ordinary person over hundreds of medical professionals. Like yes, that mom raised one kid that survived and had no issues, but these doctors have studied thousands of cases and have seen what increase and decreases risks. I'm sorry but I would rather follow all the guidelines of medical professionals and take comfort in the fact that I did everything I could to keep my baby safe. I don't care if your child slept on their stomach with five pillows and a blanket and a stuffed animal and turned out just fine.

i agree. even tho they say cosleeping can cause SIDS my daughter is currently sleeping in bed with us because she doesn't have a crib but even then i still make sure i keep it as safe as possible. especially since she moves a shit ton 😅

My kids rolled on their tummy sense birth, so they have slept on their tummies. Also have slept in my bed, I just keep checking in them. Can't stop a baby from rolling on their belly, that why the first couple months they sleep in that bassinet thing I don't know the name of right now.

@melinda2011131416, yeah as long as your baby is strong enough to roll they are strong enough to move their head to get air. Doctors say if they roll over onto their tummy by themselves it's perfectly safe for them to stay on their tummies.

I still worry, even on my third. It's not a pack I play, but a night and day sleep and play?!? Because it keeps them in their back, until they can actual pick themselves up. I'm gonna worry with this one, I'm always scared so I still precautionary measures.
