It dwindled down to who has their life together the most and would be able to support my child if anything happened and who wouldn't leave my life. That and who makes an effort to see me. If you can't make an effort to see me what makes me think you can make an effort to see my child.

good luck mama! it's really not as easy as people think. I had 2 of my friends text me and ask for an explanation as to why I didn't choose them and I was so caught off guard by it. I didn't realize it was such a big deal! I'm just thankful I chose the best person I have in my life to be the godmother to my son. hope it goes well (:
