I have a question for everyone that is married or been with their SO for along time. Who comes first his Mother or You..
My SOs mother is always in our business, or finances. And my SO is always disrespectful to me because of his mom... like for example tonight he "had" too go over there and he was walking their dog and then walk in her dog and said i have to get off in the middle of me talking about our son. and i said wtf? he said i will be then in a min bye! i HATE his Mother. i love my father in law. but his mom is annoying and one of those people that could get on ANYONES nerves. #sorry

We both believe that our immediate family comes first. With that being said we are very respectful of each other's parents whether we get along or not. We both distance ourselves from negativity now. It made our marriage stronger. We also agree to have each other's back no matter what. No one can come to the other talking crazy. Even if we're wrong we refuse to let others divide us. It's us against the world.
my husband says we r b4 his mom but he's a storyteller bc his mom says jump & he says how high she just told me tonight I was feeding him to much junk food & she thinks his iron is low I needed to feed him better
I do. It wasn't always that way. My husband had to learn that and I love how much he respects his mom but still have me first.
mil's can be the devil! seriously. sometimes I feel like my husband picks his moms side over mine but he always picks mine. every chance she gets, she talks shit about me to him about how I don't or do something, I didn't put the paper in the right garbage, stupid petty stuff and usually my husband tells her off but also comes at me, but I come right back because she's the devil and we don't get along so he understands for the most part and tries to be on both sides but mainly mines. you should have a serious talk with your SO about how your feeling and don't hold back anything even if it sounds mean or he gets mad. he has a life with you know, children or pregnant not his mom.
I come first and so does he, but there are certain circumstances when we make an exception to the rule.
