Feeling like I'm failing at breastfeeding. My baby is 3 weeks tomorrow and starting to have issues with latching and latching off again. Today I tried to feed her and she started getting fuzzy fuzzy and pulling at my nipple and getting frustrated. I started crying because I'm so frustrated and have already gone to lactation 5 times and they've helped me but goes back to square one. I feel like giving up and just pumping the milk instead of giving her breast. My nipples are cracked and sore now :( I put on ointment and still at each feeding it hurts. And my supply is not the problem I actually have a lot of milk.

she could be trying to trigger a let down,and what she's doing also helps produce more milk lol even though they get upset my son does it still and he's 8 months now

@mrsmoore, I'm trying to feed her again and so far so good. I gave her the right breast and now back to the left where she was getting frustrated with. Thank you 🙏🏻

It's okay to get frustrated and have bad feedings! If you do need to skip a feeding at the breast, make sure you pump. Breastfeeding is hard and there's no shame in needing a break, just make sure you protect your supply!

And your nipples! Unlatch and try again if you feel any discomfort or at least until you achieve a better latch.
