Jesus. I'm paying 700 for a tiny two room appartment and I'm living in the most ghetto part of this state. And this is the cheapest I've found yet! Crazy!

cali is literally thee most expensive state to live in, NY coming in 2nd but only for the 2 central Metropolis cities. we unfortunately have 8 of the United states' most expensive cities, 6 of which are all clumped haha. but everyone wants to live here for a reason so I guess you get what you pay for for location! cost of living be damned hahaha.

I'd say California is pretty bad too! I've looked up prices for rent there once just to see how expensive it can be. @babytj0214 doesn't give much money for people to live off of these days.

thank you! we are in NE pennsylvania. we got lucky. Yeah we gotta pay our own electric and gas usage but that's not gonna be bad. and water and sewer are included in rent. There's no lease and we can keep our cat. it's definitely a win win! @marienoelle that's crazy expensive girl. idk how people can afford to pay such high rent and such. I wouldn't be able to make it like that! this helps my boyfriend and I out alot bc we will be living off just his income.

where the heck do you live!?!?! I'm jealous!! 1 br here is, in low income housing, about 750. for those of us that don't qualify it's between 900 and 1600 depending how close to the Bay you get! good job girl!!
