My little dog is only 20 lbs and she has to constantly be on top of me. The big one is 75 lbs now and there's no way he can lay on me but is super protective now.
When I was pregnant my little one wanted to lay on my belly all the time but the bigger one didn't really seem to realize it was there so I had to watch out for him
We own 3 pittbulls one chinchilla a Hahns macaw a chicken and 3 goats
mine has, my bigger dog stoped jumping on my soon as i got pregnant. and he loves to lay on the couch next to me with his head on my belly.

@london1010, yea my bf wanted a big dog who then ended up having separation anxiety so we had to get another and don't have enough room so we got a chi pin their names are Hercules and beast!!!
my dog actually gets really scared when my daughter moves around so she runs and hides underneath my feet. other then that she is around me and usually Kay's between my legs and puts her head on my belly
