So my doctor said i should be induced by my 39th week due to my gestational diabetes. But my mom and dad are gone that entire week due to a trip they had planned for over a year.. At first it wasnt a big deal until i sat down with my doctor about scheduling. And they all are when my parents arent here! I want my mom there for sure. Sorry love my hubby but i dont wanna be left with him and my mother in law only.
So i asked for maybe going a week earlier.. And she hasnt gotten back to me...
I really love my mom and just cant handle her not being there for MY first baby...
Does any one else feel the same?

@rhamilton6615, diet control. My numbers have been pretty stable i dont go above 120s anymore even after eatting meals. My doctor said she has a feeling baby will come early tho.. And she was going to put off till May 1st, but can doctors really delivery on weekends? Thats a sunday.. And i wouldnt think a doctor would go on a sunday.
Ya I couldn't imagine! That's why I was trying to say that they recommend Induction at 39 weeks but you absolutely don't have too! Are you on medication too? Or diet controlled? @likdarebear

@rhamilton6615, i know its more of a risk. But if i have to get a c-section im not worried about it. Im not one of those that believe c-section is an easy way out or whatever people say. I just want me family to be there. And ive known alot of women that prove that you dont always get a c-section due to inducing. My mom had 3 girls was induced 2 times never had issues. My mother in law had 2 boys and was induced every time with no c-section. My cousins have all been induced with their kids with no c-sections and i have 12 cousins.
And they won't induce you until your 39 weeks also! @lildarebear you'll want your momma there too! It's great support! Just remember you don't have to do anything you don't wanna do.. :)
Girl you do not have to be induced at 39 weeks I was gestational diabetic with insulin and I didn't know that I didn't have to be induced they just recommend it induction can take up to 48hrs I was in labor for 40hrs and ended up having to have emergency c section. Getting induced increases your chance of having c section
Yes doctors can deliver on Sunday's lol! Lots of babies are born in Sunday's haha if she's saying she'll do it I would definitely go for it! You're lucky you're diet controlled lot healthier for baby and you still have super healthy placenta that's why the doctors wanted me induced for sure no later than 39 weeks because the medicine breaks down the placenta faster.. At first I was on glyburide the was put on insulin because the glyburide was no longer strong enough the keep blood sugars down! @lildarebear
