I want my hair colored blonde . is it safe to get done while being pregnant ?!

I know hair coloring is safe after the first trimester but if you're planning on bleaching you should ask your doc :)

you can color it after your first trimester but you cant bleach it at all during your pregnancy. so blonde is a no go until after baby is born info from my doc. i was going to put blonde in my hair but she told me no the bleach in it is to harsh

Its safe to dye your hair once you are out of the 2st trimester, even safer in the 3rd, But you must use ammonia free and bleach free. I suggest Revlon color silk

they dont recommend bleaching your hair while pregnant. the fumes and chemicals are much stronger than hair dye.

you could always see what your doctor says. they may have changed it all since i was pregnant 6 years ago. lol

I bleached the bottom part of my hair about 4 weeks ago at 10 weeks. My dr didn't say anything to me.

Uh, I was in cosmetology school for the first half of my pregnancy and its totally safe. Get it done at a salon though because the products that they use are much better for your hair in general. I would say if you're trying to straight up Clorox your hair at home, totally not safe... (And your hair would fall out, lol) but if it wasn't safe, I wouldn't have been allowed to work with the lightener at school. Go for it girl☺️
